As the Creative Director at FrontFutur, I led the full 3D production of Drifters, overseeing the concept development, asset creation, optimization, and technical implementation of game ready customizeable characters and more than 400 individual clothes and traits.
Our team handled every stage of production, including character design, modeling, texturing, rigging, and optimization for real time performance across web and game platforms. We developed a complete ecosystem of modular, customizable avatars built for both visual quality and technical efficiency to run in real time in a web-based customizer tool.
I directed a team of over 25 artists across multiple disciplines, established production pipelines, defined quality standards, and coordinated directly with the client to ensure creative and technical alignment. The result was a large scale 3D library and avatar system that became the foundation of the Drifters universe.
Customization is at the core of the project. Each asset has a cohesive style carefully crafted to be a part of the universe of Drifters. Almost all clothing also fits with eachother, which was one of the many challenges faced throughout the development.
Drifters are rigged, customizable avatars designed for movement across the metaverse, social media, and beyond.
As living works of art and self-expression, they feature hundreds of unique, handcrafted items inspired by the iconic CyberBrokers style.
With ongoing drops, collaborations with top artists, and exclusive items for holders and select communities, Drifters are more than avatars – they're your ever-evolving canvas.
